ARBSE website privacy notice
ARBSE is Birhanu Arbse’s business website. This notice explains how ARBSE handles the Web Lite drafting tool, business inquiries submitted through the Contact form and direct email.
Current website processing
WordPress uses essential authentication and administration functions for authorized users. Yegara hosts the website and processes requests needed to operate it. Hosting services may process technical information such as an IP address, browser information and requested address. The exact hosting log fields, retention periods and processing locations have not yet been verified.
The website does not use GA4 analytics, AdSense, checkout, visitor registration, marketing enrollment, geolocation collection or external CRM/AI integration. The inquiry form does not accept file attachments. Web Lite’s optional local JSON import is described below.
Optional Web Lite drafts
Web Lite processes draft fields in your browser. Saving is optional: “Save on this device” stores records in that browser profile’s local storage. Web Lite does not add encryption or account-based access controls to those records, and provides no cloud backup or automatic device synchronization. Avoid sensitive information on shared devices.
For JSON import, the selected backup is read within your browser. JSON and CSV exports download separate files; a PDF is created if you choose a file-saving option when printing. You control these files and any sharing or backups of them.
“Erase local records” removes the tool’s saved list in this browser. It does not delete exported files or clear the current on-screen draft. “Clear draft” resets the on-screen draft while saved records remain. Clearing browser site data can also remove saved drafts. Export a backup before clearing data.
Local drafts are separate from inquiries sent through the Contact form. Hosting services may process technical request information when you access the tool. Product and inquiry links open website pages covered by this notice. For privacy questions, contact contact@arbse.et.
Inquiry fields and purpose
The form requires Name, Email, Service / Interest, Short Request and a Privacy acknowledgement. Company / Organization and Phone are optional. The purpose is to understand the request, assess the appropriate service, respond, prepare a quotation where relevant and follow up on that specific inquiry. Acknowledgement does not enroll the visitor in marketing.
Do not submit passwords, identity documents, bank records, sensitive personal information or confidential attachments through an initial inquiry.
Storage and email handling
Fluent Forms Free stores valid entries in the WordPress database on the hosted website. Entries include the submitted fields, submission time, source page, browser and device information. Public inquiries do not require a visitor account. An authorized signed-in user’s submission can be associated with that WordPress account. Entry IP logging and form analytics are disabled. Form anti-spam checks operate without an external CAPTCHA service.
FluentSMTP uses authenticated email to send one internal inquiry notification through the hosted mail service, from ARBSE <contact@arbse.et> to the Owner-controlled contact@arbse.et inbox. The visitor’s submitted email is used as Reply-To so ARBSE can respond to that address. No automatic visitor acknowledgement or marketing email is sent.
Routine FluentSMTP message-body logging is disabled. The original entry remains in WordPress, and the mailbox holds the notification and any replies. Submission logs can retain delivery status or errors. If notification delivery fails, the stored entry remains available for Owner review and recovery.
Direct email requests may also concern books, digital resources or publication status. ARBSE uses the information in those messages to answer the request and clarify the relevant release or delivery information. Sending an inquiry does not enroll the sender in marketing or place an order.
Backups access and retention
UpdraftPlus is configured for daily backups to the Owner-controlled Google Drive destination, retaining seven file backup sets and fourteen database backup sets. Backup-set counts do not guarantee a specific number of calendar days. Protected manual recovery copies are retained separately.
Stored entries and mail copies may also appear in protected backups. Only authorized people should access business inquiries.
General or unsuccessful inquiries are retained for up to 12 months after the last relevant interaction, then reviewed for deletion unless a legitimate continuing business need exists. Accepted client engagements will be managed separately according to applicable contractual, accounting, tax, legal and dispute-record requirements. This is ARBSE’s operating rule, not a universal legal retention requirement.
Deletion from the active website or mailbox does not immediately remove protected backup copies. Those copies may persist until their normal rotation or separate protected-copy review.
